Gifting Day | 2NURFM Community Radio
Hi everyone,
I am raising awareness and funds to help 2NURFM keep delivering the good times and great music we know and love through the University of Newcastle’s Gifting Day.
What comes to mind when you think about 2NURFM? You might think of Todd delivering your daily laughs over a morning coffee, Ian working away sourcing the latest local news, or perhaps Kev bopping along with you to The Sensational 70s.
It’s not often we think about how our favourite news segments, songs and programs are made possible to enjoy from the comfort of our homes.
There’s nothing overly exciting about sound desks, transmitters, audio processors, engineering support, microphones, systems and consoles; except that they make our favourite community radio station, 2NURFM, possible.
But the equipment that ensures Amanda keeps us company in the afternoon, or Mark keeps us informed with the latest issues facing our community, is an ongoing and significant cost.
As a non-profit radio station, 2NURFM rely on the support of our community to remain an authentic voice for the Newcastle and Hunter regions.
2NURFM wouldn’t be here without the kind support of our community, volunteers and the University of Newcastle.
