For more than 60,000 years, our region has been home to incredible knowledge and culture, with over 200 years of documented history just waiting to be preserved.

The Vera Deacon Regional History Fund supports projects that protect these irreplaceable records.

Your generous tax-deductible donation in honour of the late Dr Vera Deacon OAM will provide important access to the region’s history for the benefit of our communities.

By supporting the Vera Deacon Regional History Fund, you are helping to preserve the University’s regional history archives and collections as well as providing tangible work experience opportunities for our students entering the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) sector.
