We’re facing rising costs to stay on-air and we need your help.
Help our community stay connected
In a world where so many feel disconnected, we are proud to bring people together through local stories, news, shared laughs, and music that spans the decades.
But the cost to keep 2NURFM on-air continues to rise. Just one example is the fee to access the local transmission tower – which allows us to broadcast our signal to your radio – is anticipated to increase by $15,000 in 2026.
Without access to the tower, we simply can’t reach you across the airwaves.

* The University of Newcastle covers all administration costs, so 100% of all funds raised go directly to support 2NURFM.
