Maliyan Indigenous Student Leadership Program
The Maliyan Indigenous Student Leadership Program supports our next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care students to undertake a transformative leadership program and enhance their skills to deliver the best possible health outcomes for Indigenous patients and their communities.
“Maliyan”, meaning “eagle” in Wiradjuri language, sets to take our leaders of tomorrow to new heights. Throughout the program, students build their leadership capabilities with a focus on empathetic and holistic approaches to communication with Indigenous communities.
From rural Australia to Washington DC, students immerse themselves in local and international First Nation health, gaining a broadened and comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery in our communities and Indigenous communities across the world.
Your generous tax-deductible donation will go towards helping students undertake this transformative leadership program, enabling them to build and enhance their skills to deliver the best possible health outcomes for Indigenous patients and their communities.
Your donation will support the Maliyan Indigenous Student Leadership Program.
